Become a Delegate

In February 2024 we will host our 21st annual conference, Embodying Autonomy: Liberating the Physical Self.

During the weekend of February 23-25, student delegates are invited to explore the ways our bodies are vessels of human rights. This year’s conference will critically analyze the politics of bodies through the trans liberation struggle and what bodily autonomy means in a post-Roe world. The conference will feature two keynote speakers, two panels, a workshop, site visits to enable delegates to witness firsthand what they learn from speakers, and more.

Hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation between events will be free for all delegates. Financial aid will be provided to delegates dependent on individual circumstances.

To apply to our annual conference, delegates must be undergraduate or graduate students at any college or university, have a passion for human rights, and show a desire to grapple with complex histories and inequities.

We also hope that when the conference ends, delegates take the knowledge acquired and the tools gained back to their campuses, communities, and workplaces.

Applications to Embodying Autonomy: Liberating the Physical Self are now closed. Please stay tuned to our social media for other ways to get involved with the conference! If you are local to the Evanston & Chicagoland area, you will be able to come to the keynotes.
